Tash de Mallet Hawes is the director, audience solutions APAC, at PubMatic where she leads a commercial team across the region that focuses on building relationships with advertisers, agencies and DSPs. She has lead initiatives to drive revenue growth, build awareness and forge partnerships through education, consultancy and strategic alliance. She brings 10 years of programmatic experience having previously served as head of display at Cadreon.
As chief data and technology officer, Patrick Darcy is responsible for leading the digital, data, intelligence and product teams Australia and New Zealand. With more than 17 years’ experience working in media, advertising and technology, Darcy is a strategic and transformational leader who is passionate about solving complex business challenges for clients.
He has a deep understanding of technology, data-driven marketing, analytics and building digital ecosystems, helping clients navigate through the complexity to grow their businesses. Prior to joining Dentsu Aegis Network in 2019, Darcy was chief executive officer at Cadreon, IPG Mediabrand’s data and technology unit. In this role, he led a team of more than 120 people across Australia, developing best-in-class data and technology solutions for his clients. He has previously held senior leadership positions with RadiumOne and Mi9, Nine’s digital arm.
Cara Walsh currently runs her own consulting practice where she counsels brands on digital product development, marketing, adtech and innovation. She began her career working in the United States at Draft FCB agencies before moving to client side working from McAfee, AT&T and in Australia for RACQ. Walsh scheduled some of the first banner ads in Silicon Valley back in 1999. She then went on to build one of the first programmatic ad networks while she was director of digital ad products at AT&T (now Xandr). She has worked as an account lead on major accounts including Citibank, Bank of America, Skechers, McAfee, Microsoft, and Coca-Cola. Walsh also currently chairs the Business Advisory Board for Queensland University of Technology’s (QUT) School of Advertising, Marketing and PR.
