Henry Chang, AGS Senior Lawyer


Henry is a dispute resolution lawyer, with key areas of practice in employment and workplace relations law, and compensation law. 

In his employment and workplace relations law practice Henry advises Commonwealth agencies on all aspects of the employment relationship, including advice about recruitment, managing misconduct, discrimination complaints, risks associated with the termination of an employee’s employment, public interest disclosures and enterprise agreements. Recently, Henry has worked on the matter of Mondelez Australia v AMWU where AGS acted for the Minister for Industrial Relations intervening. He instructed counsel at the hearing of this matter before the Full Federal Court. 

Henry has also had carriage of a large number of workers’ compensation matters acting for Comcare and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs in proceedings before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
