Responsible representatives of not for profit organisations must know how to maintain a tax safety net.

This Webcast brings you up-to-date with tax responsibilities for not for profit organisations and builds your competencies to check and repair – where may be necessary – your tax safety net.

You will learn:

  • why we need to maintain awareness of tax risk (formal legal obligations and maintaining public reputation)
  • obtaining and maintaining eligibility for income tax concessions (for the organisation and for its donors)
  • ensuring all boxes are ticked for employee tax matters, including PAYG, fringe benefits, superannuation
  • keeping within GST requirements
  • observing State compliance obligations, such as stamp duty, land tax, payroll tax.


Harry Rigney

Harry Rigney is an Australian legal practitioner and tax agent, providing professional service for clients in all Australian jurisdictions and Asia-Pacific.

Harry holds a recognised specialist in revenue law, graduating in Law from UTAS in 1978 and attended Harvard Law School for his LL.M. in 1979 as Menzies Scholar.  He has been National Tax Director for PKF, senior tax manager for PWC, and author of numerous articles and other texts.  Harry has been a registered tax agent continuously since 1982, he is a Chartered Tax Advisor and member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.  He has made contributions to tax policy and tax law drafting through participation in industry interaction with the Australian Taxation Office.

Harry Rigney founded TaxCoach TM in Australia in 2001. The concept has been rolled out around the globe.  TaxCoach TM delivers a portfolio of services for professionals and trustees.
