Each week we will be joined by an expert guest speaker, who will share their experience on a series of specific topics regarding biometry and other important cataract surgery planning considerations. At the conclusion of each live presentation there will be an opportunity for audience members to participate through a live Q&A feed. This week’s webinar will be presented by Dr John Males on the topic of “Laser Vision Correction (LVC) Calculations”.
Dr. John Males
Dr John Males is a corneal, cataract and refractive subspecialist. He has consultant positions at Sydney Eye and Concord Hospitals, is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and is in private practice in the Sydney CBD and Liverpool.
Dr Males has previously been the head of the Department of Ophthalmology at St Vincent’s Hospital, and head of the Corneal Unit at Sydney Eye Hospital. He has clinical and research interests in keratoconus treatments including collagen cross linking, refractive surgical procedures including ReLex SMILE, and improving refractive accuracy of cataract surgery.
