About the Webinar

The NSW Government has released the Draft Gwydir Regional Water Strategy for public consultation from 25 September to 13 November 2020.

A two hour online public information webinar session is being hosted as part of the consultation process for the draft strategy and you’re invited to attend.

This session will cover:

  • what the Draft Gwydir Regional Water Strategy is, how it was developed and next steps
  • region specific opportunities and challenges
  • the climate data modelling process we have used and the findings
  • the range of options that we could investigate to secure water for the Gwydir region in the future
  • how you can have your say.

In the last part of this session we will answer questions on what we have presented.

At the end of this session you will be presented with a short survey which we encourage you to complete.

The Gwydir Regional Water Strategy is one of 12 regional water strategies being developed across NSW. These strategies will provide us a roadmap for planning more resilient communities over the next 20 to 40 years.

We encourage you to get involved, register for this online information session, and join in the discussion.

If you are unable to attend the session, we will be recording it so you can view it at a time suitable to you.

You will also have the opportunity to attend information sessions in Moree… and to book a one-on-one phone consultation with a team member to discuss the Draft Gwydir Regional Water Strategy.
