About the webinar

This presentation will outline the current legislated role of the ATSB in the rail industry, its current focus, and its future direction.




Nat Nagy
Executive Director, Transport Safety, Australian Transport Safety Bureau

Mr Nat Nagy has been involved in the transport industry since 1996 in a diverse range of operational, safety management and executive leadership roles.

Nat joined the Australian Transport Safety Bureau in 2017 and leads the operational division of the organisation across the Rail, Aviation and Marine domains and has a core focus on the improvement of transport safety across all industries.

He started his career as a commercial pilot and air traffic controller, and has since had a senior management and executive career holding several strategic leadership and transformation roles in a range of environments in the transport sector. He is also an Adjunct Professor with RMIT University in the school of engineering with a focus on transport safety investigation.
