Chris Pash, Editor, AdNews

Chris Pash is the editor of AdNews. He is a former business editor, foreign correspondent, bureau chief and  CEO of an Asia-based news joint venture company, Asia Pulse. He is a director, and former chair, of the Australian Society of Authors and a former director of the Copyright Agency and PANPA (Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers' Association). His book, The Last Whale (Fremantle Press 2008), chronicles the last days of whaling in Australia from two points of view: the whalers; and the activists who tried to stop them.


Helen Black, Head of Connection Planning ANZ, Facebook

Helen leads the Connection Planning function at Facebook ANZ, helping partners navigate changing consumer behaviour and build better connections between brands and people. Helen is passionate about insight, ideas and the craft of planning. This has seen her take on strategic leadership roles at News Corp, MediaCom and UM - driving change in culture, product and capabilities to enable market-leading work. Helen has communications experience across multiple industry sectors working with clients as diverse as Coca-Cola, Microsoft and the Australian Government. During her time as Head of Strategy, UM Sydney won Festival of Media Global’s Campaign of the Year for work promoting respectful relationships amongst teens.


Jenny Child, Partner, McKinsey

Jenny leads McKinsey’s consumer and retail work in Australia and New Zealand. She has more than 14 years of consumer sector experience across North America, Australia, and New Zealand; supporting clients to transform their businesses through customer-centricity, agile ways of working, and resetting culture. Jenny serves clients across a broad set of consumer-facing sectors, including retail, consumer packaged goods, media, service logistics, and telecommunications. Her expertise includes working with CEOs and industry leaders to develop multichannel go-to-market strategies, digital strategies, sales-force effectiveness, and frontline capability building programs.


Bri Williams, MD, People Patterns

Bri is one of Australia's leading authorities on behavioural influence. A CPA with a degree in Applied Psychology, Bri founded People Patterns in 2011, a specialist consultancy that helps businesses get staff, customers and stakeholders to take action. Prior to this she worked in finance, HR and product management for some of Australia's leading brands. A regular contributor to Smartcompany and MarketingMag, Bri has written five books including "Behavioural Economics for Business" and "The How of Habits" and appears regularly as a presenter, panellist and media commentator.
