About This Webinar

Our sixth Embracing Change Webinar focuses on behaviour support under the NDIS guided by the requirements of the Specialist Behaviour Support Module and the Implementing Behaviour Support Plans Module of the NDIS Practice Standards together with The Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.

This Webinar is designed to guide you through practical examples that will assist in preparing your desktop audit, self-assessment and onsite audits.  You will also have opportunities to ask questions via our Moderator throughout the webinar.

Hear from:
  • Tracey Harkness, National Director Behaviour Support, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission who will explain the key Behaviour Supports features under the NDIS Practice Standards and the role of the NDIS Commission.
  • Evelyn Ireland, Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner, The Disability Trust who will speak about operationalising these behaviour supports requirements in her organisation and her work with NDIS participants with psychosocial disability and implementing service providers.

Who should attend this webinar?

This webinar is designed to assist two groups of service providers:

  • Psychosocial disability service providers registering or re-registering as a registered NDIS provider with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (the NDIS Commission); and
  • Community services and NDIS service providers currently not delivering services to people with psychosocial disability.
