This webinar is one of three MHPN webinars produced on behalf of a national collaboration between the 31 Australian Primary Health Networks.

Through a case based discussion, an interdisciplinary panel of clinical experts will discuss the relationship and interplay between ageing related issues, including but not limited to; mental and physical health, grief, loss and social isolation.

The webinar will describe the challenges, merits and opportunities of evidence-based approaches deemed most effective in treating and supporting older people with mental and physical health and/or psychosocial issues. By outlining the roles of different disciplines in treating and supporting older people, the webinar aims to ensure that referrals are better targeted, thereby improving consumer outcomes.

The interdisciplinary panel of subject matter experts includes: Mr Chris Hall (Psychologist), Dr Rod McKay (Psychiatrist) and Professor Susan Kurrle (Geriatrician), with Dr Stephen Ginsborg (General Practitioner) as facilitator.

You can read more about our panel here.
